French Students Conclude Study-Immersion in Manila

UniLaSalle France students Bastiane Auphan at the Lingap Kabataan as part of their International Service Program class.

Sixteen French students recently concluded their four-month exchange program through UniLasalle France’s Go Lasalle Mobility Project, an initiative to reach out to the vast global network of La Sallian education at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

The Go Lasalle Mobility Project has over 20 partner universities in Brazil, Columbia, Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States, the nine La Salle schools in the Philippines, including De La Salle University (DLSU) Manila, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), De La Salle Araneta Universiy (DLSAU), De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU) – AgriVet Sciences Institute, De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) and the  De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB).

UniLaSalle France, a joint venture of the forces of Lasalle Beauvais, Lasalle Rouen and ESITPA (Ecole supérieure d’ingénieurs et de techniciens pour l’agriculture) specializes in life and earth sciences and trains generalist engineers to be top executives in agriculture, food, health, geology, and the environment.

The UniLaSalle students’ bespoke study courses were Safety, Security and Sanitation, Principles of Food Production and Menu Planning and International Service Program for both Health and Nutrition and Hospitality majors. The former group took Leadership and Management and Human Behavior in Organizations classes, while the latter apprentices had Marketing Management and Food and Beverage Systems subjects.

These were conducted hand-in-hand with the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM) and School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) students.
