Lazada Philippines enhances online shopping experience with one-stop beauty hub

Lazada launches Beauty by Lazmall, the newest shopping platform that provides access to top local and international brands through one beauty destination. The launch kicks off “Women’s Festival”—a month-long celebration this entire February.

“This shopping platform celebrates new beauty,” says Lazada chief marketing officer Neil Trinidad. “A playful, vibrant, diverse, and inclusive beauty playground where everyone is invited.”

Lazada, recognizing that fashion and beauty are the fastest growing categories, continually builds a lifestyle destination with over 50 million products, a dozen categories, and interactive tools to complete the online shopping experience.

To show love this love month, especially for women, special sales are scheduled weekly. This includes flash sales, special promotions, and 24-hour livestream deals lined up in four categories: beauty, fashion, home, moms, and babies.

Lazada Philippines CEO Carlos Barrera says the festival prioritizes both brand partners and patrons. Rewards and exclusive deals, like the special Lazada Beauty Box for top spenders, and added wallet points, await consumers.

L’OrĂ©al and Maybelline bring in beauty tech with their “magic mirror”—a digital try-before-you-buy function. Just pick any shade, tap on the “try this shade on” button and watch it magically appear on your lips.
Lazada also welcomes their Beauty by Lazmall Beauty Council, seven fashion and beauty trendsetters who represent the local scene’s young vibe and voice: makeup artist Albert Kurniawan, bloggers/influencers Vern and Verniece Enciso, Maggie Wilson, makeup and beauty vloggers Johnrey Almonte, Michelle Dy, and Rei Germar.

Johnrey believes beauty is now diverse and accessible to all, while Michelle believes that the concept of new beauty gives women more choices. Rei, famous for hashtag #reimademebuyit, says beauty is immersive as she shares product reviews to her followers so they can make informed purchases.

Vern and Verniece share the idea that beauty allows self-care, and they appreciate the new trend of minimalism. Meanwhile, Albert conveys the idea that people are now more knowledgeable about skincare, and understand how it supports makeup.

With the new platform, Lazada aims to cater to the demands of digi beauty, and digital natives in general. By offering add-ons, they make the experience more memorable and enjoyable for the growing community of online shoppers.
