By Kristelle Bechayda

Spend the most romantic time of the year with a little extra sweetness. Head to Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, and drop by the ice cream shop Happy Pill that just introduced new flavors to the menu in time for Valentine’s. There’s the Black Sesame, which is a must-try, and the Milk Tea, which lets you enjoy the famous drink in ice cream form.

Meanwhile, the other flavors are full of fun just as much as they are made with love. You will find yourself laughing at the witty names no matter your relationship status. The Poppah Don’t Preach is basically milk tea ice cream topped with glazed popcorn. Para Kay B, Boba sa Pag-ibig, on the other hand, is infused with boba pearls and brown sugar syrup.

For an Instagrammable dessert, there’s also the colorful confections: Unicorn and The Rainbow Connection. The former is topped with a variety of fudge dips, and the latter is sprinkled with cotton candy and Ice Gem biscuits.
