TRIKE ART

by KRISTOFER PURNELL

In celebration of National Arts Month (NAM), Dumaguete City puts on Biyaheng DumaGuet-Art where 100 participating city tricycles will display the personal works of local visual artists.

On social media, the Dumaguete City Tourism Office said that the initiative “allows for more people to appreciate the local visual arts community,” and is “open to the commuting public for free.”

Biyaheng DumaGuet-Art is part of the city’s own annual NAM celebration, KISAW. Other KISAW events to look forward to in Dumaguete City are a Forest Camp Music and Art Festival, a dance-lecture presented by the Kahayag Dance Company entitled Bansayaw, a series of lectures and competitions, among others.
