IN PHOTOS: NCR Community Quarantine Day 2 and the Filipino Workforce

By JESSICA PAG-IWAYAN

In attempt to contain the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus, the national government has officially implemented the regionwide community quarantine for the National Capital Region (NCR).

Since last week, classes have been officially suspended, and beginning March 15 malls have a shorter schedule of operations, same with some branches of local government in NCR. Meanwhile, it is business as usual for some private companies, but the national government has encouraged them to implement a flexible working schedule for their employees.

In photos taken by some netizens and The Manila Bulletin’s photojournalists, here’s how this community quarantine, now on its Day 2, has been affecting the daily commute of the metro’s working public.
