We are now living in a new normal because of the pandemic. School is out, but the learning continues in every household. Different learning materials are now uploaded online for children to access without going out.

In line with this, streaming giant Netflix offers free documentary shows on their YouTube channel to help teachers and students learn more about history, science, environment, culture, and people. Families can also have fun learning something new together with these documentaries.

Here are the 10 shows available for free:

  1. 13th
  2. Abstract
  3. Babies
  4. Chasing Coral
  5. Explained
  6. Knock Down the House
  7. Our Planet
  8. Period. End of Sentence.
  9. The White Helmets
  10. Zion

“For several years, Netflix has allowed teachers to screen documentaries within their classrooms. During the lockdown, and to ensure that the education does not stop, we have provided a list of 10 documentaries that can be viewed for free,” the company says in a statement.

Meanwhile, streaming platform subscribers can also watch other educational titles such as Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise, The Search for Life in Space,  Basketball or Nothing and a lot more.
