All 12 seasons of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown are coming to Netflix this June


“If I’m an advocate for anything, it’s to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. Walk in someone else’s shoes or at least eat their food. It’s a plus for everybody,” said the late Anthony Bourdain.

If you’re a fan of his gastronomic adventures, you’re in for a treat as Netflix will stream all 12 seasons of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown this June.

Parts Unknown covered the American chef and author’s journey as he explored places from his home country to the ends of the earth. The show let viewers experience different cultures and cuisines, from the finest eats in America and Europe to delicacies at unlikely food spots in Asia and Africa.

Since its premiere in 2013, the show garnered numerous awards of recognition from the Emmy, the Peabody, and the likes. Sadly, the show ended on its 12th season when his friend Eric Ripert found him dead by suicide on June 8, 2018.

Among the countries he visited for the show was the Philippines. In 2015, at Christmastime, he had a taste of local specialties, such as sizzling sisig and halo-halo. The episode is also notable for it aired a Tagalog cover of the series intro theme.

The travelogue will be up for streaming beginning June 1.
